You can always manipulate it by moving your subjects to different areas of the room or outside, but consistent light is key to keeping a consistent look to your photos. You can use artificial light in a pinch, but it’s best to try to work with natural light whenever possible.
Don’t be afraid to go black and white:
Sometimes the colour just isn’t your friend. Really strong colours can overpower your images and make them less visually appealing. If you’re finding your colourful subjects are overpowering your photos, try converting them to black and white. Black and white photos are more timeless and can draw your viewers in. The best thing about black and white photography is that there are no rules. You can convert your photos to black and white on the fly, or you can do it in post-production. The choice is yours. Don’t forget the basics:
There are a lot of numbers, rules, and visual aesthetics you can play around with when taking photos, but it’s important to remember the basics. When taking your photos, remember to keep your subjects’ eyes in the centre of the frame. This will help keep your photos organised and balanced, and it will make sure your viewers are paying attention to the most important part of your photos: the subjects. It’s also important to remember to keep your subjects away from the edges of the frame. This is to avoid the dreaded cut-off, where your subject’s body is cut off at the edge of the frame, making your photo unbalanced and uninteresting.

This is one of my favourite photography tips for freshers. Many professional photographers have a standard way of taking photos, but that doesn’t mean you have to follow suit. Experiment with different angles, positions, and perspectives. Step outside of your comfort zone, and see what kind of interesting photos you can create. You never know what kinds of photos you’ll stumble upon while experimenting. It’s important to remember that the best photos are the ones you feel the most comfortable taking.

There are a lot of creative things you can do with your photos. Be sure to document your progress along the way! We get it. Your camera roll is brimming with beautiful photos of your vacation, family outings, and even your daily commute to work. But these photos aren’t ready to share with the world just yet. Editing your photos is one of the most important aspects of photography. You don’t need expensive editing software or a fancy camera to create stunning content. You can edit your photos with free apps like Google Photos, or you can use apps like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to do more in-depth edits. The best part about editing your photos is that there are no rules. You are the creator of your own visual aesthetic, and you can do whatever you want to make your photos look exactly how you want them to.
