The owner of Reels and Frames in Mumbai, one of India’s most award-winning photography companies, the photography career for Anand Rathi started quite unexpectedly. 

He bought his first camera when he was in New York pursuing his MBA. 

Initially working in the finance industry, his photography journey shifted from capturing landscapes as a past-time to a full-blown wedding photography career when he was handed a camera by his friend in India to shoot a wedding. 

Apart from photography, the other features in his hat include being an engineer, a stock trader, a treasury manager, and a TEDx Speaker. 

Anand Rathi along with his team has carried out 250+ weddings across 5 continents and 18 countries.

His profession has made him won many awards like – the Fearless Photographers, the Wedding Sutra photography award in 2018, the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA), the Great Indian Wedding Award (GIWA), WOW Awards in 2019, and the Spotlight Awards for Photographic Excellence, to name a few.

His story about quitting a high-paying job for capturing candid moments at a wedding, and his success stories have found mention in many publications such as the Change, the Hindu, Your Story, and many more. 

He has also developed ‘Picsniff ‘, an AI-powered image-sharing app. 

He is well known for providing innovative services such as shooting 360-degree virtual reality wedding videos, formal portraits, wedding films, GIF booths, fully automated photo booths, and super slow-motion cinematography among many others. 

His clientele includes Braj Binani Group, McDonald’s, Aditya Birla group, Vadilal, Kalpataru, and Motilal Oswal to name a few.
