Capturing the pure emotions in a Wedding is not an easy task for photographers. Even the professionals of the Wedding Photography Industry find it difficult to capture these pure emotions. We tell you that if you don’t capture these special and pure emotions, your clients would be upset and will not even recommend you to other photographers.
If you want to increase your clientele, you have to level up and upgrade your skills. Moreover, you must keep up with your client’s expectations because this will not only make your clients happy but also increase your clientele.
Capturing WOW organized a comprehensive webinar with Nitin Arora, a professional Wedding Photographer where he shared several smart ways to capture the right emotions in pictures. In this article, we will be walking you through the ‘Top 10’ smart ways that were shared by Nitin Arora at the webinar! So keep up the momentum as we are about to get started!
DEVELOP A RAPPORT
As a Wedding Photographer, you need to know your client well. Develop a rapport with your client and ask them about what kind of photographs they are expecting from you.
BUILD YOUR TRUST AND CONNECT
Bride and grooms are not looking for photographers but they are looking for problem solvers.
Meet your clients and engage with them and build your trust while you connect with them.
BE A FAMILY
By being a family, you don’t have to go to their homes and live with them. But, create strong bonds with your clients and be a part of their families.
KNOW YOUR STYLE
As a Wedding Photographer, you have to discover your style. Nitin said that he loves playing around with shadows, lights, reflections and that is probably his style. So sit back and think about what style you would love to pick up.
ENSURE YOU ARE THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER
If your style doesn’t match your client’s expectations, your clients will name you as the worst photographer. Your clients should love your style and know that you are the right photographer for them.
HAVE A SHOT LIST
Make sure you have a ‘shot list’ of ‘must-have’ photographs.
Moreover, you should ask your clients about their rituals and about all that you have to capture.
BE FRIENDS WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT
You need to make sure that you are well aware of each piece of equipment that you carry. Once you are friends with your equipment, you can create amazing shots full of emotions.
REACH LOCATION BEFORE TIME
You have been given one responsibility and a special role to capture and create memories for your clients. It is recommended that you go to the location before time. You can see the area, you can visualize what you have to create in the next few hours, with great backgrounds.
BE AWARE OF THE TIMELINE
You should know about the timings of when and where your bride and groom will enter from.
This will help you stay focussed and you will know what moments you have to capture at what time.
NARRATE STORIES
Your job as a Wedding Photographer is to read the behavior of your clients and interpret the correct emotions. You don’t have to tell people what’s happening. Your photographs have to speak on behalf of you and so, capture photographs that narrate beautiful stories.
These were the Top 10 smart ways shared by Nitin Arora at the webinar! Implement all of them in your profession and upgrade your skills and techniques in Wedding Photography.
